I’m Arkady Brown, a certified birth and postpartum doula serving families across Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Flint. As a VBAC mama myself, I understand firsthand the courage and vulnerability that come with birth, especially when navigating healing or reclaiming your story. My certifications include Lifespan Doulas, Birth Becomes You, and The VBAC Link, and I’m also Spinning Babies trained with additional training in perinatal loss support.
I approach birth work with calm confidence, compassion, and evidence-based care — walking alongside you through each stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Because I believe every birth deserves to be remembered with reverence, I provide all of my Medicaid clients with a small gift of birth photography. It’s my way of honoring your story and ensuring you have tangible, lasting memories of the strength and love that brought your baby into the world.
